I'll be listing the Angry Birds Games from best to worst. Please note that I'm rating these based off all content, so this includes the gameplay, animation, and maybe even the merchandise if it calls for it. It's my own opinion, so if anybody disagrees please leave a comment on why!
Why wait longer. Here's the first one.
1. Angry Birds Stella - Angry Birds Stella is the first actual Angry Birds game where I felt attached to the characters. And it's a true shame that they decided to discontinue it because it is one of the best. It has brand new animation, almost all the characters are new (Which I wasn't to dear about at first, but I really liked it in the end) and the strategy aspect is given a whole new paint job. The season 1 storyline was amazing and actually intresting, and while Season 2 is slow I can see somewhat of a story forming here. I love this new given aspect of Stella and all of the characters have amazing personalities that make them unique, unlike the previous games. (I really hope nobody calls me out for being biased ;-;)
Animation (Both series and in-game): 10/10 Story: 8/10 (Not too strong on the game's story, but the animation's story makes up for it) Gameplay: 9/10 Characters: 10/10
2. Angry Birds and Angry Birds 2 - I'm combining these two because it's practically their own mini-series, since Angry Birds 2 is the only real sequel. You can't beat the goodness of Angry Birds Original. While it may not be as strong as the other games, it's still one of the best and really considered strategy. While the new levels may not be as noglastic as the old ones, and it's a shame they decided to change quite nearly everything, it's still the most dearly known by everybody.
Angry Birds 2 is also a reboot of the first one. I like the fact that they included new animations, and started it off the way Rovio felt most comfortable. I feel as if they like some characters more than others, however I truly wish they had replaced Silver's role with Hal, since he is more of a fan favorite and Silver isn't really that dear right now.
Angry Birds:
Animation (In-Game): 8/10 Story: 9/10 (It's not as good as the newer games, but that's to be expected) Gameplay: 10/10 Characters: 6/10
Angry Birds 2:
Animation (In-Game) - 10/10 Story: 5/10 (after 10 games, it's too cliche) Gameplay: 8/10 Characters: 7/10
3. Angry Birds Space - The hype was so real before this game... all fans eagerlly awaited to what this was; when they found out, they were not dissapointed. I love the new physics mechanics, and they really bring out a new strategic side to the game. The costumed characters make this game so much fun, and fans love making fan-art for characters who haven't gone to space yet which brings out a dish of creativity as well. While the story is still very repetetive, I still liked it and the fun of playing the game made up for it. The brand new boss battles brought out from Rio that introduced the moving targets was a lot more fun than just having the non-moving pigs sitting on the structure.
Animation (In-Game, and the trailer, I guess): 8/10 Story: 8/10 (Still cliche, but not that much, since only Angry Birds O brought out that egg stealing plot) Gameplay: 10/10 Characters: 8/10 (Zero personality, but the new sprites and costumes make up for it)
4. Bad Piggies: Kind of a cheat, since it is a spinoff, but it still takes place in the same world.
I love that Rovio decided to take a break from birds and the slingshot, and introduced the Bad Piggies in a whole new way. The story of trying to get the eggs was a bit cliche, but really fun to see from the Pig's perspective. Building the karts to fit the obstacles in your path was a fun challenge, and wasn't tedious and boring like some of the other games. Really loved this overall, and shows that Rovio can really do other things than rely on slingshots. Plus, creativity can go wild all over in this game. Wasn't to happy about the Field of Dreams in-app purchase, but overall it was amazing.
Animation: 6/10 (there wasn't that much of it) Story: 8/10 (Still egg stealing, but took place during the original Angry Birds so what should we expect) Gameplay: 10/10 Characters: 6/10 (Ehhhh...)
5. Angry Birds Epic
I felt that this game wasn't nessecary, but it was still a great addition. Fans loved the RPG aspect of it and even after you beat the game, there was always something to do. While there were so many levels, I never got bored of it and it was really fun to explore Piggy Island like this, and look over the entire island. It really gave depth into what Piggy Island is and RPG fans won't get tired of this one.
Animation: 8/10 Story: 7/10 Gameplay: 10/10 Characters: 7/10
6. Angry Birds Seasons
Angry Birds Seasons was one of those Angry Bird games that if you just wanted gameplay and no story, it'd be perfect. There's only postcard cutscenes, and other than that you just play the update. However, I don't think that the name Seasons fits anymore, since Rovio focuses on things like the NBA update, or the Egg-Snatchers update. I don't like that it doesn't focus on more holidays, like Thanksgiving, Day of the Dead, etc... and there's so much more it could be doing, but like Angry Birds it's a real classic and it's hard to not give it credibility.
Animation: 5/10 Story: 4/10 (Like I said above, it didn't really need a story, so there's benefit of the doubt) Gameplay: 7/10 Characters: 8/10 (Gets the higher points because I really like the new power-up characters)
=Neutral Games
I feel like these ones were eh...
7. Angry Birds Go!
This game was really fun, except that it was slow and nearly impossible in some parts. I felt like it was constantly asking me to make in-app purchases and even one of the karts used to be 100 dollars. I don't like how limited it is, but hey, it's on a smart phone. I actually really like that they pulled off a Karting game and it was at least slightly different than most modern racing games. The 3D models were a bit creepy, the voice acting was eery, but otherwise it was good, and eh-ish.
3D Animation: 7/10 (But good for first time, Rovio!) Story: 4/10 (Not to hot on egg stealing) Gameplay: 6/10 Characters: 6/10 (Would be higher, but refuses to add more characters like Chef Pig, or even some Stella ones) In-App Purchases: 0/10
8. Angry Birds Rio
I dunno... I really liked this game, but I think that it was eh- as well. I think they should have steered clear because they didn't think what would happen when they weren't making movies- would it just stop there? I also hated that there's no pigs in this. Come on... there's no Angry Birds without any pigs... however this game brought up the boss fights, which were really fun and I liked the gameplay. The marmosets were at least more of a challenge than the pigs, too. But they should have steered clear of this.
Animation: 7/10 (Low for regular sprites, high for toons sprites) Story: 3/10 (Follows Rio's story, really eh- because they could have made it more different) Gameplay: 7/10 Characters: 5/10 (It was very vauge on the Rio characters.)
9. Angry Birds Star Wars
I liked it, don't get me wrong, but same with Rio. The Star Wars series is already over, and this was kinda seen as a cash grab as me. They stopped making updates for so long, and I really didn't like that we had to pay to get into a planet. Plus, Rovio doesn't even look like they plan to make updates for Star Wars 7, and Star Wars II was very unnessecary. However the new abilities are facinating, and I liked how the two completely different things somehow merged together.
Animation: 7/10 Story: 5/10 (In this case, since the characters didn't follow the movie's characters unlike Rio, it gets some doubt) Gameplay: 7/10 Characters: 10/10 In-App Purchases: 3/10 (Not as bad as Go!)
The Ugly Games
10. Angry Birds Fight
I really did not like this game. It was mostly based off of luck, and not skill, and I was randomly paired with people too low or too high of my rank. The levels were very difficult, if not very slow, and my percentage meter only went up by about 4%, which meant I had to do 25 battles to beat just one level. Upgrades felt utterly useless, unlike AB Epic, and the story was pretty pointless too. The puzzle matching was just irritating, and the timer did not help either.
Animation: 5/10 Story: 0/10 Gameplay: 0/10 Characters: 0/10
11. Angry Birds Star Wars II
I think this one was a cash grab too, and it wasn't very nessecary. They could have merged it with the original game, and the only reason why they had so many characters was to make money off of selling telepods. The plush toys haven't been released, even after a year, and most of them looked pretty effortless anyway. They didn't even make a Professor Pig plush, but the made a Greedo plush, what the heck? Noises were annoying in this game, the story was rushed by the end, and the Rebels levels aren't at all interesting either.
Animation: 4/10 Story: 1/10 Gameplay: 1/10 Characters: -1/10
12. Angry Birds Transformers
This game was so unbelieveably slow. The progress I made was useless, and I couldn't even upgrade my charcters anymore because of the multiple added currencies, making coins useless. There was so many in-app purchases to move along the game, and I didn't pay for a single one of them. The game has been out for a year and they haven't even updated it yet. It is also based on luck, because many people can't even get the new characters because they randomly appear on missions and can be easily missed. And the gameplay gets boring extremely quickly, and there isn't enough quickness to get to the end that it just gets tedious to play.
Animation: 3/10 Story: 1/10 Gameplay: 1/10 Characters: -2/10
13. Angry Birds POP!
I was so pumped when I heard there would be another Stella game. I was so excited, only to figure out that the levels were impossible to 3-star, and that most of them would be impossible to beat as well. Rovio dished out updates only because it was easy to make unbelieveablly hard levels to keep the fans busy, instead of actually updating one of their original games. And then they removed the Stella, and turned it into a normal game. I got so furious when Red and Chuck stayed, and when Bomb came. It's like they don't even care.
Animation: 0/10 Story: What story? Gameplay: 0/10 Characters: Don't want to answer this one. I feel so bad that the Stella characters were involved in this.
