2020 is the eleventh year of the Angry Birds franchise.

- January 18: Rovio airs Angry Birds Slingshot Stories.
- February: Rovio announced that Angry Birds Rio, Star Wars, & Star Wars II will be shut down due to rights expiring.
- February 11: Angry Birds Tennis is soft-launched in select countries.
- March 1: Angry Birds Legends is soft-launched in select countries.
- March: Angry Birds Casual is soft-launched in the US, Poland, Finland, and Sweden
- June 3: Rovio announces on their website that they've acquired a studio called Darkfire Games on that day.
- August 31: Angry Birds Bubble Trouble airs.
- December 4: Lina, a Rovio employee, announced that Angry Birds Legends would no longer be worked on.
- December 4: In-App purchases made after November 5 were refunded.
