The game is a port of the original Angry Birds, with the PlayStation Portable's buttons, the DualShock 3, Sixaxis, and DualShock 4 controllers, (PlayStation 3 and PlayStation TV), or the PlayStation Vita's buttons being used depending on what console the game is being played on. To launch a bird, the player must use the left joystick to aim the bird and press the "X" button to launch the bird from the slingshot. Pressing "X" again when the bird is in mid-flight would activate the ability. To go back or cancel, press the circle button. For moving to the left or right of the screen, press either L1 or R1 and press both to see the entire level.[5]
Trivia[]
On the PPSSPP emulator, the touch screen cannot be used, as the slingshot is controlled with the analog nub and the PSP does not have a touch screen.
It uses an early version of the 2010 splash screen.
If you listen closely, the sound effects and voices appear to have a reverb effect.
It is still available on the PS3 and PS Vita's PlayStation Store in a few regions including the UK.[6]
Oddly enough, the game is rated T on the cover on the game, despite the fact that the Android version of the game has an E rating for it, while the IOS version is 4+ age rating.
If the player zooms out and in continuously and quickly when the level starts in 1 - 3 on this version of the game, the smiley face can roll down and crush the pigs, making it a level that doesn't require birds at all.
