The Angry Birds series is known for its colorful cast of characters. Here's an incomplete list of the characters who appear in the Angry Birds series.

The protagonists of the games are wingless birds. The most well-known of them (and the leader) is Red. They are collectively known together as the ''Flock''.

But when they do focus, they're resourceful and inventive problem solvers.
Yellow Bird	Chuck	Speeds up when the screen is tapped, does great damage to Wood		Poached Eggs 1-16	Chuck is a free spirit and prefers to operate without rules or routines. He longs for challenges and excitement and prefers to focus on the bigger picture. He can be a bit impulsive - while everyone else is still talking, he likes to get out and take action.
Black Bird or Bomb Bird	Bomb	Can do great damage to stone; explodes causing significant damage to structures Conducts electricity and causes an electric shock (Short Fuse)		Poached Eggs 2-5	Bomb is a doer. While other people get tied up with theories and rules, he's out there getting things done. Sociable and exciting, he loves being the center of attention and entertaining people with his antics.
White Bird	Matilda	Drops an Egg Bomb, with her second corpse speeding upwards diagonally		Poached Eggs 2-14	Matilda is calm, friendly, and sensitive. Her open-minded and accepting nature makes her easy to like, and her tend to play the peacemaker with her friends. She is a perfectionist and trusts her gut when it comes to making decisions, so she doesn't always appreciate outside advice.
Green Bird or Boomerang Bird	Hal	Acting like a boomerang when screen is tapped, most effective at the back of structures		Danger Above 6-4 (encaged) Danger Above 6-5 (first playable appearance)	Understanding and sociable, Hal makes his voice heard but is also a great listener. His social nature and great conversational skills earns him a lot of friends. On the flip side, his people pleasing personality means that he takes criticism especially hard.
Big Brother or Big Red Bird	Terrence or Terence	Destruction, angrily snarls when screen is tapped. He has a cousin named Tony who lives in Finland.		The Big Setup 9-1	Terence is the strong, silent type. Logical, level-headed, and rational, he has a keen analytical mind. His introspective nature can make him seem distant from others - but he, in turn, is sometimes baffled by how irrational and emotional others can be. He best works when he's left with his own thoughts, or when interacting with other people who see things in the same way he does.
Orange Bird or Balloon Bird	Bubbles	Inflates into a huge orange ball		Ham'o'ween 1-4	Bubbles is quiet but friendly, always happy to pitch in and help. His sunny outlook and loyal, considerate nature makes him a great friend. He prefers to focus on the bright side of life, so he can get overwhelmed by anything overly complicated or negative.
Ice Bird	Ice Bird	Freezes structures, explodes when the screen is tapped.	Unknown
Pink Bird or Girly Bird	Stella	Traps herself into a bubble and makes blocks and items float		Back to School	Stella's the star of the show and the bird all the others look up to. She may look cute and cuddly, but don't be fooled - if you push her too far, she'll soon reveal her blazing-hot temper! that's just how she rolls, sweet on the outside, and fierce on the inside.
Poppy	Unknown	Tornado Dive: Spinning rapidly downwards, "drilling" through blocks Line Pop: Clears a row of blocks (Angry Birds POP!)		Branch Out 1-12	"Poppy's wild, mischievous and crazy as a coconut! She lives life in the fast lane and is the group's comedian - she loves playing pranks to make the other birds laugh. She's definitely an attention seeker and the group sometimes loses their patience with her if she takes her practical jokes too far (like the time she dressed Dahlia up as a pig when she was sleeping). Poppy doesn't really like being alone and always wants someone around to talk to because she really likes the sound of her own voice! As the musician of the flock, she's a highly skilled percussionist and her trademark is banging away on any object with her drumsticks to create bangin' beats."

Branch Out 1-23	"Luca is the youngest of the flock, and also the only boy - just don't call him a baby! He's as playful and inquisitive as you'd expect a young bird to be, and loves exploring. However, this does cause problems when he wanders off and doesn't tell anyone. Luca thinks he's bigger than he really is - a fact that has got him into trouble a few times already! While he doesn't talk much, he certainly does like imitating everyone (and everything!) around him. He can sound like any of birds, pigs, or even any of the island's critters - and he really enjoys doing it!"

She lives in her own 'Willow World' - as a daydreamer she often has grand ideas, but can't always follow through! It ruffles her feathers to see those pigs behaving badly and destroying their habitat. Although Willow is a free spirit she's also the shyest of the group, and feels safest when wearing a large, over-sized hat. While her shyness is an endearing quality, it sometimes holds her back from expressing her true feelings. However, when those piggies are around, she certainly comes out of her shell!"
Dahlia	Unknown	Science-Fu: Phasing through solid objects and spinning after reaching the target Science Pop: Clear blocks in a column (Angry Birds POP!)		Branch Out 1-47	"Dahlia is a science guru and Golden Island’s one and only gadget geek! She loves experimenting with different materials and inventing useful structures, often with explosive results (don’t mention the solar powered tree house warmer). She’s a gardener too, and enjoys creating new species of exotic plants. Dahlia is pretty impatient, and gets pretty angry if anyone disturbs her experiments or if the results don’t work out as planned. But hey, who cares if things go wrong. Dahlia simply keeps trying until she gets it right. #commitment"

Silver	Does a 360-degree loop and then violently crashes into the ground		Depends on player, Angry Birds 2	Weirdly, Silver was raised by the pigs and doesn't even care about eggs! But even though she's still got some piggy-like ways, she's happier with the flock and is a great flyer who is very funny!
Melody	Sucking & spitting out items		Depends on player, Angry Birds 2	Having grown up in a musical nest, jazz is the sound of home for Melody. She cares deeply for her friends and family, and is actually slow to anger, but when she gets upset, she expresses herself through song – to devastating effect. When she starts singing at the top of her lungs, anything that isn’t nailed down may get inhaled, only to be shot out like a bullet when she gets to the chorus.

Pigs[]

The main antagonists of the series are green pigs. The reason for this is because of the outbreak of Swine flu, a disease which makes the infected look green. It's also the reason why they are green.

King Pig	Large Bastard	Used to be the main antagonist of the Angry Birds series.. Appears at the end of each episode. The son of King Mudbeard and his wife. He is the current King of Piggy Island. His real name is Smoothcheeks.		Alive

Female Pig	Unknown	Instances of this pig are very rare, and are mostly fake. However, a portrait featured in Dessert Mode in the game Bad Piggies shows King Pig's mother. There is also a playable pig named Zam Wesell in Angry Birds Star Wars II.		Deceased

Earl		A country pig. He is voiced by Blake Shelton, and sung a song titled "Friends".
Photog		A photographer. He is known to be cheerful, sly, goofy, and flirty, as he was shown flirting with Stella. He is obsessed with taking pictures of things, birds, and fellow pigs. . He was voiced by Tituss Burgess.
