The Angry Birds 2 Tournament was an Angry Birds Friends tournament that ran from August 3rd to August 9th of 2015[1]. The tournament was used as a promotion for the at the time recent release of Angry Birds 2.
New Features[]
- Silver Card: While Silver herself was not playable in the tournament (even to this day, Silver is unplayable in Angry Birds Friends), her card from the game appears as an item. When destroyed, it rewards 5000 points.
- Golden Duck: When hit, a large quantity of rubber ducks rain down on the level, causing mayhem in the level.
- Balloons: The Angry Birds 2 variants of the balloons appear as new variants for the usual balloon object, coming in large, small, slim, and triangular shapes.
- Structural pieces: Pieces of structural geometry from Angry Birds 2. The pieces include roofs, triangular supports, stone wheels, gears, guard rails, ladders, and lanterns.
- Gems: Decorative objects that drop 2000 points when smashed.
- Chef Pig: Acts as the boss of the Tournament. Chef Pig is far more resilient than the average Pig. His hat is also a separate object, and can be knocked off his head.
