Toons.TV Description[]
What happens when everybody's favorite fierce fowl get caged and shipped to Rio? They get very angry! In Angry Birds Rio, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio de Janeiro.
Plot[]
Before the short film, the 20th Century Fox logo plays as usual, but Red destroys part of the screen, revealing the Rovio logo.
The film begins with Red, Chuck, and Blue Jay singing the Angry Birds theme, Suddenly, a helicopter drops a cage which traps them and takes them to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In Rio, the cage hits the left arm of the Christ the Redeemer statue.
The helicopter drops them off inside a den. After the cage hits the floor hard, Nigel then flies to the top of their cage and looks down at them. He shows a wanted photo with a $100,000 reward featuring Red, Chuck and Jay. As he laughs, Red, Chuck and Jay damage the cage in a fit of irritation and it explodes. They scream when they are surprised to see the other caged birds including Blu and Jewel. Nigel then laughs again while Red, Chuck, and Jay rage at him.

Trivia[]
- At the beginning of the trailer, the 20th Century Fox logo oddly uses the 1953 Cinemascope fanfare and the visuals from 1994.
- Also, Red makes Hal's second version of his yell, despite the green toucanet not appearing in the trailer.
- The scream was reused from Season's Greedings Short Movie when Red, Jay and Chuck were surprised in Nigel's room.
- When the three get angry at Nigel, it is the same sound heard in the Summer Pignic theme.
