If you get the Skull from Ham 'o' ween, you'll notice that when you get 3 stars on all the levels, its eyes will light up and will also receive a star. The Jack 'O' Lantern from Trick or Treat also receives signifacant changes as a special items: when you did not get 3 stars on all the levels yet, the Jack 'O'lantern will have its face. The face will be replaced by a Star once 3 stars are received on all the levels. Same thing with the Pig in Cupid Suit having the Heart-Shaped Point of his arrow being replaced by a Star.
Cutscenes
The Trick or Treat episode is the only episode which had a cutscene because it was formerly Angry Birds Halloween, but cutscenes were removed in a recent update for consistency.
