The Angry Birds Winter Wonderland made a debut in the Christmas season in 2011. During that time period, Samsung worked with Rovio to use Angry Birds to promote their new Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone device. The site was located at: http://note.angrybirds.com/

The site included a playable Angry Birds level, an animated video, "Season's Tweetings E-cards" and a new game, the "Angry Birds Advent Challenge," and a competition from Samsung.

The site description posted on the Samsung Mobile Youtube channel states the following:

"Would you like to have a "Chirpy" Christmas with all the best Samsung technology in your hands? Yes? Welcome to the wonderful wintery world of the Samsung Angry Birds Christmas Nest!

Here you will find all your favourite Angry Birds characters playing in a world and in a way that you have never seen before. Yes, that's right, a brand new Angry Birds Advent Challenge which will get you "chirping" with delight and send your high scores "soaring" to the top of the tree.

And its been created just for you as a special Christmas bonus.

You will also be able to send your favourite Angry Birds "frequent flyers" a super special Christmas "Tweeting" that will have them "owling" with laughter! "



Playable Level

The playable level on the Winter Wonderland page was a customized Angry Birds level that included "Samsung Galaxy" in the clouds on the level background and had Samsung Galaxy Note icons throughout the level. When the competition ended, the level was moved to level 1-5 of the Season's Greedings episode of Angry Birds Chrome and can still be played there.


Season's Tweetings E-cards

Three e-cards were available for site visitors to send to friends and family. This feature is no longer available. The cards offered are shown below.

Angry Birds Advent Challenge

A new game was offered on the site called the Angry Birds Advent Challenge. The gameplay was very similar to that of the popular "Bejeweled" game, but using Angry Birds, Bad Piggies and Samsung Galaxy Notes as the images to match. This game was not offered anwhere else after the Winter Wonderland site closed.

The site included a video called "Take Note Pigs" and is still linked on the site disclaimer after the campaign ended.
