"Back Seat Buddies" is the tenth episode of Angry Birds on The Run. It premiered on January 12, 2019.
Synopsis[]
The Angry Birds manage to hitch a ride, but things get ruff when an unusual sound emerges revealing that they are not the only passengers in the back of this car.
Plot[]
We see a man attempting to get into his car, but steps out, realizing he forgot his glasses. While he's away, the door is open, so Red, Chuck & Bomb jump inside and hide in the back seat. When they are on the drive, the man switches on the radio, and a song plays out, denoting the trio's various predicaments throughout their journey. This annoys Red to no end, but Bomb enjoys it and sings his own tune with it. Chuck tells both of them to be quiet, reminding that they're on the run. Some time later, Bomb feels parched, and tells the irate Red that he needs a drink. Red tells him to go and get the can of soda at the door. Bomb manages to get it, and at the same time cause a wet mess when he opens the can. No sooner has he taken a sip when he hears growling. It turns out to be the man's dog, Wolfie, who was woken up. Chuck tells he can subdue him, but it ends with the dog "playing" with Red, Chuck and Bomb. The noise causes the man to pull over and check what's up. When he opens the door, he is shocked to see the trio riding on Wolfie. As they ride the dog away, the man frantically calls out to his dog. Back at the staircase from the previous episode, the mysterious stranger finds the birds' feathers on one of the steps.
