This article is about an unreleased Flash game. If you are looking for the released mobile game with a similar name and logo, see Bad Piggies. Bad Piggies Build (also known as Angry Birds Build[1]) was a cancelled Flash game planned to release in 2012 by Rovio Entertainment.[2] However, this game was never mentioned or announced by the company and was left in mystery until an SWF download [3] was found on the Appspot link. This game was planned to be a successor to the also cancelled Angry Birds Social.
Gameplay[]
The game had both a sandbox and a story mode. Sandbox mode allows the player to freely create a level with their unlocked blocks and share it online. The story mode sees players build structures for a pig in a set location. There are additional Pigs that award stars if the player is able to protect them. After the structure is built, there is a brief wait time to check the structure's stability. Afterwards, the player takes control of the birds, and must destroy the structure.[4]
When building a level, the player has a limited amount of blocks they can use. When a player beats a level, they gain Exp, and eventually can level up. Leveling up is one of two ways of acquiring new parts, with the other being to purchase them from a shop.

Trivia[]
- Unlike other cancelled games and just like it's predecessor, this game was never announced nor confirmed by Rovio, instead it was found in early 2021 via an AppSpot link by the Angry Birds community alongside its predecessor Angry Birds Social.
- This was the second glimpse of a public Angry Birds level creator before Angry Birds: Isle of Pigs was created with the first being it's predecessor.

- The game was later repurposed as a level editor for games such as Angry Birds Friends[7][8] until around 2020 when Miika Virtanen[notes 1] left Rovio.[9]
- There were over 800 test levels created for this game internally, with some of the more prevalent ones being "Cocktimus Prime" and "Salty Balls".[10] These levels were believed to be created to test the moderation features for the game.
Notes[]
- ↑ It is believed in the modding community that Miika was the last remaining Rovian at the time who knew the game engine's inner workings well.
