The episode starts with Red, Chuck, Bomb, and Stella fishing in a boat as Mighty eagle sleep Chuck eats worms from the bait bucket and Red remarks that camp Splinterwood is the best place in all time ever because it has "awesome everything". Chuck lists trampolines, ziplines, slides, buildings a flag pole, grass trees, air, water, his right wing, and the sling rod in his right wing. Stella adds that they also have the "best worst counselor ever", Mighty Eagle. Bomb remarks that it is the perfect summer, but Red states that the one "un-awesome" thing about the summer is the food. Stella remarks that Brenda has been very checked out lately.
The scene cuts to Brenda placing a blue frozen casserole on Stella's tray in the dinning hall. Stella asks if the food was supposed to be defrosted. Brenda remarks that it's a new recipe called "I'm-Not Your-Mom casserole". Bomb asks Red, that if the food was awesome, it would've been the perfect summer. Bomb gets pushed into the lake by a fishing lure and explodes underwater. Fish sticks somehow rise from the lake's surface. Red asks if the objects that had risen from the water were indeed fish sticks, but is interrupted by Chuck and Stella enjoying them. Stella remarks the the fish sticks are the "fish stickiest fish sticks that ever fish sticked!". Red eats a fish sticks and are amazed by the. Red tells Bomb he gave them a chance at a "perfect summer". Stella, Chuck, Red, and Bomb fish out the fish sticks using nets. One fish stick mysteriously sinks.
The campers devour their plates with a pile of fish sticks on them in the dining hall. Red states that everyone loves them, including Brenda. Stella remarks that Brenda looks happy. Brenda smiles and Red says that it's oddly unsettling. Bomb remarks the everyone loves his sticks, and Brenda gives her responsibility of serving meals and hat. Bomb states that he wanted to give them campers a nice lunch, and Brenda asks them what they want for dinner. the campers reply by shouting "Fish Sticks!". Red states that they're going to have a perfect summer thanks to Bomb. Bomb blushes and remarks that his fish sticks can't be "that good".
The scene cuts to the Campers playing as they eat fish sticks. Neiderflyer complements the fish sticks and he and Red jinx each other on a seesaw. They run off as they hold hands. Bomb jumps off with the boat with Mighty eagle still sleeping in it and explodes more fish sticks. One fish stick sinks into the lake. Terrence grows at a purple bird and they give him their fish stick. Terrence eats the fish stick and smiles. Bomb throws fish sticks from a bucket to a crowd of campers in the cafeteria. Brenda bounces off of the trampolines and shouts that she's never going to cook again. Lynette remarks that he now tolerates the camp due to the fish sticks, and Harold feeds her one from atop her head. Harold tells Bomb to keep making more fish sticks.
Bomb explodes more fish sticks and climbs into the boat. All of the fish sticks sink into the lake as Bomb gets his net. Bomb struggles to grab a fish stick and his net breaks. Bomb looks at the bottom of his boat and explodes himself to the shore. The fish monster sucks up all of the remaking fish sticks and descends into the lake. Bomb tells the fish monster that he's going to announce to the campers that there's isn't going to be anymore fish sticks. Red and Neiderflyer remark that they would've been fighting if it weren't for the fish sticks as they play hatchling tether ball. Harold tells Lynette how he loves her and Lynette tells him that she tolerates his presence while riding a multi-person bike. Stella and Chuck shows their love for Bomb's fish sticks and how their lives been "meaningless" before them. The bike zooms to be seemingly endless. Bomb tells himself that he's going to tall the camper that there will be no more fish sticks, but Brenda stops him.
