Big Bork is an obese Pig who serves as a boss in Angry Birds Space. Nobody knows where the bloated boar came from, not even himself. What is known is that he's incredibly gluttonous, eating pretty much anything in front of him.[1]

Appearance[]

Big Bork is the largest pig out of the Space Pigs. He has a double chin, beady eyes, and large spots on his body. When he gets shrunken down at the end of his boss fight, he still retains the spots.

Personality[]

Bork is undisputedly the least intelligent of the Space Pigs. His brain is reportedly the sized of a malnourished pea. His appetite is the only thing that keeps him moving, always in search of more food. His low intelligence causes him to eat just about anything in front of him, resulting in stomach aches. Despite his imposing size and low intelligence, Big Bork is surprisingly kind.[2]

Game Appearances[]

Angry Birds Space[]

Big Bork is first seen as a background element, frozen within the ice of Cold Cuts.[3] Bork appears in Utopia, where eats an Eggsteroid. The Space Flock fight Big Bork, forcing him to spit the Eggsteroid out. After the battle, he is noticeably shrunken.

Gameplay[]

By Utopia's end, Big Bork has grown to a ludicrous size, and must be taken out in an unconventional way. The player must either attack his mouth while it's open or knock asteroids and other inedible objects into the supersized scrofa's mouth. After being force-fed enough rocks, Bork will explode, revealing the Eggsteroid and ending the level.

In addition to Bork, there are also other Fat Pigs who appear throughout the game as regular enemies. It's unclear if these are meant to be more Big Bork appearances, or if these Fat Pigs are meant to be separate characters.

Angry Birds Reloaded[]

Big Bork reprises his role as Utopia's boss. Aside from the new sprites to match with the newer pig designs, his role is identical to his appearance in the original game.

Book Appearances[]

Angry Birds Space: Numbers[]

Big Bork appears twice in the book. The first time is when him and a Space Minion Pig are being counted up by Ice Bird. His second appearance is with Space Foreman Pig beneath some asteroids near the end of the book.

Relationships[]

Space Minion Pigs[]

The Space Minions view Big Bork as more of a plaything than a person, using him as a bouncy castle. This is reportedly where the spots on his body came from. Despite ancient piggy law dictating that the largest pig rule, Big Bork is apparently so stupid that even if they still followed these laws, the Space Pigs wouldn't crown him regardless.

Space Flock[]

While the Space Flock comes to blows with Big Bork over the Eggsteroid, there doesn't seem to be any animosity between the parties. Big Bork never attempts to attack or even defend himself during his boss fight, and the flock leaves him be after he spits the Eggsteroid out.
