Birds on the Hunt is the fifth episode of the Angry Birds on the Run series of the second season. It premiered on July 18, 2020.
Synopsis[]
Red and Matilda are on the hunt for... something. They don't really know what it is, but it's going to take all of their survival hunting skills to find out.
Plot[]
As Red is fixated on something very strange, Matilda finds herself charmed by a field of flowers. But Red is still watching the clump of twigs and leaves shaking. Red points this out, but Matilda misunderstands this, as she is still watching the flowers. When she hears what he's saying, Matilda remarks that it is probably nothing, and that Red's being paranoid. Again, she falters after realising what Red is trying to say—they're being watched, but by who? Red tells he's not going to hide (Matilda remarks this by listing some previous placed Red and co. hid), but instead going to hint down whatever's hunting them. A montage plays out, showing Red and Matilda's antics—hiding behind a tree branch, wearing the foliage as camouflage, hiding up in trees, behind them, under leaves, and make some makeshift arrows, and a bow, then shooting an ivy leaf into the tree trunk. After one final tuck and roll, they see King Pig right in front of them, to their shock. Matilda soon signals to Red, and a net falls, and traps King Pig (as well as Red, by accident).
