Throughout the Angry Birds series, the Pigs set up blocks, usually created for fortresses. The Pig King orders his pig army to create fortresses using these blocks to delay the Birds goal to retake their stolen eggs.

The stone, wood and glass blocks protect the pigs from being popped. When the birds try to break a block, they will make a dent or either break it. Some birds such as Red and The Blues will not do much damage on blocks. However, The Blues can destroy glass pretty readily if aimed properly.
