Rodimus (Also known as Hot Rod) is an Autobird in Angry Birds Transformers

Appearance

Rodimus is a slight retool of Bumblebee, with a new spoiler, a new paint on the front of the alternate mode, and a new small texture on his head, all based on his Generation 1 counterpart.

Personality

Fast, headstrong and impatient, Rodimus is the perfect match to be mashed up with Chuck! When these two get together, they're sure to 'burn down the house'.

Rodimus can't stand to be in one place for too long, which is probably why it took the Autobots so long to find him! As soon as they located where he was, he'd moved on to smash pigs somewhere else!

At first glance, Rodimus might seem immature, but he's more than capable of stepping up to the plate and leading the Autobots if Optimus Prime is... Otherwise engaged. Life as a Prime is stressful though, so he's more than happy to let Optimus take the lead whenever he returns.

Rodimus can be unlocked either through Special Events for 7500 Event Tokens, or from Gold Crates. During gameplay, Rodimus' weapon is a fireball with an Incendiary Round effect that can burn wood and ice blocks, but are ineffective against stone blocks. The fireballs burn much faster any accessories with the Incendiary Round effects.

Trivia

• Despite being based on Hot Rod, here he is referred to as simply Rodimus, presumably because Hasbro couldn't trademark the name Hot Rod at the time. His alternate names includes Rodimus Major, Rodimus Minor, and Hot Rodimus.
• Rodimus' bio mentioning Rodimus stepping up to be a leader when Optimus Prime is absent references The Transformers: The Movie, where Rodimus becomes the new leader of the Autobot after Optimus dies from his injuries after a fight with Megatron.
