Collectible Coins are coins that contain engravings of people, places or things that are mostly rare to acquire. Angry Birds so far has had 5 different collectable coins sold with their IP.
Sierra Leone[]
In 2018, the Bank of Sierra Leone issued a collaboration with Rovio Entertainment Corporation where the bank manufactured 10,000 special edition silver dollar coins of Red in his elbow position. This coin included a Zappar QR code that could be scanned with the Zappar app and when scanned, it will take you to the Infinity Acceptance Center where you would be surrounded by Hatchlings, Red, Terence, Bomb and Chuck. When tapping on the characters, you will be able to take photos of them in your surroundings. There is also a watchable trailer for The Angry Birds Movie inside the experience.
In 2019, a full set of Red (in crossed arm position), Chuck and Bomb were released with the same Zappar code as the coin in 2018, but the Zappar content for these coins don't seem to be enabled as of March 2022. There was another coin released that year for the Year of the Pig that features Leonard in a traditional Asian robe. This coin however did not include a Zappar code on it.
