Dr. Ivo Robotnik, often referred to as Dr. Robotnik or Dr. Eggman, is the main antagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. He is a self-proclaimed human scientist with an IQ of 300 and many talents in robotics.
He, along with his arch-nemesis Sonic, appeared in Angry Birds Epic in the Sonic Dash crossover event where he was the main antagonist.

Angry Birds Epic[]
In Angry Birds Epic, Dr. Eggman made a guest starring role as a boss in the Sonic Dash Event in Angry Birds Epic for a limited time. He captured Sonic The Hedgehog, who was eventually set free by the Flock, ordering his robotic army of Badniks to stop them in response.

Angry Birds 2[]
From December 12 to December 19 2024, all bosses in the game were replaced with Dr. Eggman as long as the player is connected to the internet. This event was ran as part of the Fearless: Year of Shadow Event. Players could also earn rewards if they defeated the boss enough times in the specified time frame[1]. He has unique quotes when selecting a boss stage, along with a new redesign for the Angry Birds 2 art style.

Never Meet Your Heroes[]
Eggman is approached by Orbot, one of his mechanical lackeys, stating that a dimensional rift matching the signal of The Pigs has opened. Dr. Eggman, seeing this as an opportunity to take the powers of the Angry Birds for his own, mobilizes his robotic army and goes through the portal, ending up on Piggy Island. Unfortunately for the Doctor, his plans are discovered by Shadow the Hedgehog, who follows him through the portal.
Upon his arrival, Eggman and his Badnik hoard are attacked by not only The Flock and their allies, but Shadow as well. Shadow makes his way to Eggman, who is confused by Shadow's presence. Shadow unceremoniously defeats the Doctor by flinging him back into the portal. Eggman vows to get revenge, and his remaining Badnik army are destroyed by The Flock.

- Brian Drummond voices Dr. Eggman in the Netflix animated series Sonic Prime. Drummond also voiced members of The Three in Angry Birds: Summer Madness.
- Minion Pigs during the dress up as Dr. Eggman in the Angry Birds Friends Retro Games Tournament. He also gets a Pig Counterpart in the Sonic & Angry Birds Friends Special Tournament.
- Dr. Eggman's sprite from Sega Heroes, a discontinued mobile game, can be found in the files of Angry Birds Rush.
