Easter Tournament 2016 was the third in a line of Easter tournaments in Angry Birds Friends. The tournament was held from March 23 through March 29 of 2016. Unlike the previous Easter tournaments, which featured primarily Friends-original assets, Easter Tournament 2016 borrows heavily from Angry Birds Seasons' Easter Eggs.
New Features[]
- New Egg Patterns: While Easter Eggs are nothing new to Angry Birds Friends, this tournament features four new egg patterns. Three of the patterns are taken from Easter Eggs, whilst also adding a fourth, unique pattern.
- Explosive Easter Egg: Unique to this tournament is a new, explosive variety of Easter Eggs. The explosive egg is slightly larger than average eggs, and has similar explosive properties to TNT Boxes.
- Paint Buckets & Paintbrushes: Paintbrushes and paint buckets appear as decorative objects. The come in red, blue, and orange color variants.
- New Grass objects: This tournament gives grass new sprites, but it otherwise acts the same as it's past incarnation.
- Bunny Hats: The bunny hoodies from Easter Eggs are introduced to Angry Birds Friends with new varieties. The pink hoodie returns from Seasons, along with a blue variant, and a smaller yellow variant.
