Grand Moff Tarkin (born 64 BBY on Eriadu; died 0 BBY on Death Star I, Yavin system) is one of the leading generals in the Pig Empire.
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, Grand Moff Tarkin is the Pork Star Commander. He develops the idea of how to raise the Pig Empire. He is needlessly cruel and threatens to blow up birds' home planets, for example, he ordered the destruction of Princess Stella's homeworld of Alderaan via the Pork Star's superlaser. His home planet is Eriadu and he is orderly and always is alert and pays attention. He was the one in charge of building the Pig Star.
Appearance[]
Grand Moff Tarkin is basically Foreman Pig, but wearing a military outfit. However, his outfit is colored brown instead of the more screen-accurate grey outfit. His hair also contradicts his appearance in the films since he has grey hair as opposed to orange hair that Foreman Pig is traditionally associated with.
Personality[]
Pig Star top porker Grand Moff Tarkin has some grand ideas on how to build up the power of the Pig Empire. The cruel commander scares the birds senseless by threatening to blow up their planets! Old soldier Grand Moff is always alert - even his bristly eyebrows stand to attention. It was "the Moff" who planned the Pig Star and was in charge of building it! [1]

- He was played by Peter Cushing who died on August 11, 1994, which was 18 years and a few months before Angry Birds Star Wars came out.
