Golden Beachball is the eighth episode of Angry Birds Rio. Prior to the 1.7.0 update, it was a secret level that could be unlocked by finding the golden beachball in one of the levels, or by entering a code from the Rio movie DVD/Blu-ray Combo Pack. It consists of 30 new levels. It has no cut-scene when the last level is completed. There used to be no Golden Fruits in the episode (before the 1.7.0 update). Now, there are Golden Cherries.
Instructions to unlock (before 1.7 updates)
NOTE: The following instructions are for iOS devices as well as Androids and other handheld devices.
1. Go to level 6-13 (3-2 for free versions) and try to get under the slingshot by bouncing off the sandy hill. A golden beachball should appear. Hit it.
2. Go to the episode selection screen then scroll right. The episode should be there.
3. Enjoy playing your new episode!
NOTE: The following instructions are for PCs only.
1. Buy the Rio movie DVD/Blu-ray Combo Pack.
2. Open the case. You should see a piece of paper carrying a code.
3. Go on your PC and install Angry Birds Rio, if you haven't already. If you already have the game, update it to the latest version.
4. Click the "Redeem Code" at the bottom and enter the code on the paper and click "Register". Make sure you have an internet connection.
5. Enjoy playing your new episode!

NOTE: The following instructions are for Macs only.
1. Buy the Rio movie DVD/Blu-ray Combo Pack.
2. Go to the website shown on the slip of paper in the DVD/Blu-ray case.
3. Download Angry Birds Rio Bonus for Mac. NOTE: The version at www.download.angrybirds.com does not have an option to enter a code.
4. Click the "Redeem Code" at the bottom and enter the code on the paper and click "Register". Make sure you have an internet connection.
5. Enjoy playing your new episode!
