Golditrotters is the third episode of the third season of Angry Birds Toons. It was aired on the release of the Toons.TV App and later on the website

Toons.TV Description

This little pig is too tough for a dumb children’s book. Golditrotters? Pshhhhhh – that’s not scary.

Plot

King Pig is preparing to go to sleep, just before Chronicler Pig comes in to read him a book. King Pig wants to start reading "Count Porkula", but Chronicler Pig disagrees, and starts reading "Golditrotters" instead.

At the start of the book, a golden-haired female Minion Pig named Golditrotters says goodbye to her grandma (Professor Pig) before gleefully prancing in the forest. Just after starting her trek, she notices a big house. She goes into it and notices 3 bowls of oatmeal. She decides to try them all out. The 1st bowl of oatmeal was too hot (causing her to breathe fire and burn the bowl), and the 2nd one was too cold (causing her hair and tongue to freeze), but the 3rd one was just perfect (she even eats part of the bowl itself).

King Pig grunts in disinterest, but Chronicler Pig continues reading.

Golditrotters walks into a room with 3 slingshots, and tries them all out. The 1st slingshot was too elastic (she gets spun around and bucks her off), and the 2nd one was too stiff (it breaks), but the 3rd one was just perfect (she even breaks most of the room). After feeling exhausted from breaking the room, she notices 3 nestbeds and once again tries them all out. The 1st nestbed was too big (it nearly suffocates her), and the 2nd one was too small, but the 3rd one was just perfect, and she sleeps on it for an extended time.

King Pig then throws his toy dog at Chronicler Pig and blows a raspberry, once again showing how uninterested he was. In return, Chronicler Pig scoffs, and then continues reading.

When Golditrotters wakes up, she notices 3 evil beasts resembling Red, Matilda, and one of the Blues. Frightened, she jumps out the window and runs back to her own house, opening and shutting the door. She then sighs in relief, but to make matters worse, Terence is on her grandma's bed, suddenly starting to stare at her and scares her to death.

King Pig shivers in fear, while Chronicler Pig closes the book, heads for the doorway, says goodbye in the same way that Golditrotters' grandma did, shuts the door, and turns off the light. King Pig then covers himself in fear, noticing the shadows of the same monster birds roar in the night.

Trivia

• The dog from Joy To The Pigs, Dogzilla, and Sleep Like A Hog makes its 4th appearance in this episode.
• This is the second cartoon episode to be a reference to a story book. The first being Three Little Piggies from Piggy Tales: Pigs at Work.
• When Chronicler Pig was starting to read the story, he said "Sweet Pickle".
