The 2012 Halloween Tournament was a tournament in Angry Birds Friends. It started on October 29, 2012, and ended on November 4, 2012, and consisted of six levels. This tournament was significant as it introduced Bubbles to Angry Birds Friends, as well as The Hunter, who was the precursor to the Wingman Powerup.
On the first day of the tournament, only the first level of the tournament is accessible. If a player wants to play the other 5 levels, one must wait until the final day of the tournament to play all the levels or purchase an offer that unlocks all the levels early.

New features[]
Bubbles - This tournament served as Bubbles' introduction into Angry Birds Friends. His ability is the exact same as his ability in Seasons. Bubbles will inflate when the screen is tapped, begin jetting around in random directions while releasing air after a short time, and will eventually disappear.
The Hunter - This power-up was exclusive to this tournament. Essentially, when this power-up is in use, the bird in the slingshot will be replaced with Terence in vampire hunter attire. Unlike Wingman, the Hunter is essentially Terence in power-up form
Dr Frankenswine - This pig was introduced in this tournament, and would go on to reappear in the Angry Birds Magazines and Night Of The Living Zigs Comic. He serves as the boss of the tournament, appearing in the sixth and final level of the tournament alongside a Fat Zombie Pig. After being popped, he immediately resurfaces as a zombie pig, requiring a second popping to stay down.
Zombie Pigs - These pigs made their debut in this tournament. When the default green pigs get popped during the tournament, a Zombie Pig will rise from the ground, adding more difficulty to the level. Each in-game pig (with the exception of King Pig and Foreman Pig), has a zombie counterpart. The Fat Pig equivalent, being created by Dr Dr Frankenswine rather than being undead, does not have this Zombie functionality, and is essentially just a stronger normal pig.
