The Helipig is a pig that originated in Angry Birds Stella. They are Minion Pigs with propeller hats that allow them to fly.
Appearance[]
The Helipig has a brown, leather pilot helmet with a silver propeller sticking out from the top. The helmet has dark-tinted goggles with tan rims. Helipig himself is identical to a Minion Pig, being a circular, green pig with a lime-green snout.
Game Appearances[]
Angry Birds Stella[]
The Helipig begins appearing around Island levels when the player reaches Star Rank level 3. They fly in place using their hat, but begin spinning around the level violently when hit. Aside from the hovering properties, they act identical to regular Minion Pigs.
Strategies[]
- When using Stella, bounce off of another object before hitting Helipig if possible. Otherwise, aim for the bottom of Helipig to bounce it upwards, ultimately sending it off-screen and popped.
- When Poppy is used, do not waste the bird on 1 Helipig unless there is a structure below it. Instead, a split second after Poppy hits the Helipig, tap the screen and do not let go until Poppy is under a structure,
- Luca is useless against Helipig, as its ability will not do anything to it.
- Willow should have her ability activated when extremely close to Helipig and where she will hit a structure near him.
- Dahlia is not suggested for popping Helipigs; her ability will only move Helipig for a short distance, making it completely useless.
Angry Birds Block Quest[]
Helipigs spawn in levels the same way Minion Pigs do, but perform a special action when cleared. Before disappearing, they will fly away in a straight line, dropping a pair of Minion Pigs onto the board before disappearing permanently. They do not count for any completion requirements, but the Minions they drop do count for Minion-oriented clear conditions.
Trivia[]
- It is unknown how they can fly, as their hats show no mechanical setup inside.
