King Richard Pig of England, better known by his alias Lionbelly, was a former king and monarch on England, being the brother of the former Prince John Pig. His first and only appearance was in Angry Birds Comics Quarterly, Vol 2.
Appearance[]
King Richard has a very similar appearance to the current King Pig, even having the same oval shape along with small polka dots, plus his crown is very similar in length. Differentiated by wearing a red cape with a gold button with a crown drawn on it, King Richard has also been carrying a knife and fork before being snatched from his throne.
Personality[]
King Richard shares many characteristics with King Smooth Cheeks, having the same innocence and great taste for food, wanting to eat the banquet his brother had prepared for him, even after Richard regained his brother's throne and was imprisoned, shortly afterward he ordered another banquet to be held.
History[]
At some point, King Richard attended a great food banquet, where he would end up fainting because of his brother. King Richard gets locked up by his brother Prince John Pig, who takes over his place as king.
Some time later when Red Hood was taken to prison, they put him in the same cell where Richard was, who first asked him if he had food, explaining that after the banquet his brother John locked him up to proclaim himself king, together with Red Hood. They managed to get out of the cells where he confronted John and shortly after ordering his guards to lock up his brother along with his advisors. Richard freed his people and reclaimed his rightful spot as king, and celebrated with another banquet.

Trivia[]
- The rivalry between Lionbelly and his brother for the throne is similar to Chef Pig's desire to take the throne from Smooth Cheeks.
- He is based on Richard the Lionheart, king of England between 1189 and 1199.
