The King Sling is a Power-Up that appears in the Angry Birds series. It is an updated and much more powerful version of the Slingshot.
Description[]
The King Sling takes the appearance of a golden slingshot with a gray-colored post and a red rubber band.

Angry Birds Friends[]
In Angry Birds Friends, the King Sling debuts in this game as a power-up that can be used in all levels.
When using the King Sling in gameplay, the slingshot will be much more powerful, being able to launch playable characters from a long distance. All characters that are launched by the King Sling will be covered in a golden aura.
Angry Birds (game)[]
In Angry Birds (game), the King Sling appears as a power-up that can be used in all levels, except in the Egg Defender minigame and some Tutorial levels. It can be obtained by opening eggs in The Mighty League or by buying them at the shop.
When using the King Sling in gameplay, the slingshot will be much more powerful, being able to launch playable characters from a long distance. All characters that are launched by the King Sling will be covered in a golden aura.
Angry Birds Go![]
In Angry Birds Go!, the King Sling returns with the same appearance as in Angry Birds (game). It can be used by watching an ad before the race. When used in gameplay, the King Sling will launch the playable character to a longer distance than normal.
Angry Birds Reloaded[]
In Angry Birds Reloaded, the King Sling returns as a power-up, with the same appearance as in Angry Birds Friends.
Variants[]
Lightsaber Sling[]

In Angry Birds Star Wars, a similar powerup called the Lightsaber Sling appears. It works the same as the King Sling, except that it does not launch the characters as far as the King Sling does.
