Ever since 2012, McDonald's and Rovio have been collaborating to produce custom made toys for the "Happy Meal".

McDonald's released six small plush in boxes in China, through a promotion in October 2012.[1]

Angry Birds Star Wars[]

Three buckets for the Angry Birds Star Wars series were exclusively sold at McDonald's from October 11 to November 1, 2013, featuring characters from Angry Birds Star Wars and its sequel along with Monster High buckets.

An advertisement called "Star Wars & Angry Birds: McDonald's Happy Halloween Happy Meal" was released on October 11, 2013, featuring Michael Bender as a stormtrooper, Aiden Lewandowski as a human boy, Troy Manning as Boba Fett, and Thomas Morley as Darth Vader.[2]

Angry Birds Toons[]

McDonald's released eight small plushes in Brazil and Guatemala, using Angry Birds Toons designs through a promotion in November 2015.[3][4] Then in Mexico and the rest of Latin America in December of that same year.[5]

Toys for The Angry Birds Movie were exclusively sold at McDonald's from April 25 to June 1, 2016, featuring characters from The Angry Birds Movie. Along with the toys, there were also food based on the movie, such as Green Hamburgers, Egg Hamburgers, etc.
