The Space Eagle is a transformation which appears in the Angry Birds series. It is an alternate state of the Mighty Eagle, achieved by passing through a wormhole.
The Space Eagle somewhat resembles a raven or crow with its purple plumage. It also has two plume feathers on top of his head. The Space Eagle's beak appears to be strongly curved, but that's to be expected. Space Eagle appears much larger than Earth-going Mighty Eagle.
Game appearances
Angry Birds Space
In Angry Birds Space, the Space Eagle makes his debut as a transformation that replaces the normal Mighty Eagle. At the start of the events of the game, Mighty Eagle assumed this state by passing through an extraterrestrial wormhole he used to go to space.
In gameplay, the Space Eagle is summoned using Sardine Cans, just like the Mighty Eagle. When the sardines are launched, a space warp will appear and the Space Eagle will do some damage to the level. The player then continues to play the level as normal with the remaining birds. An Eagle Highscore still appears.
Unlike Mighty Eagle, there are no time restrictions on use, and the
player can use several per level. They can earn them through gameplay achievements, and he is available as an in-app purchase on iOS and Android via the Android Market (Google Play).
Tip: When the player gets 100% Total Destruction on all the levels of an episode, a feather will appear next to the episode's object. It was formerly three feathers with a glowing color, but it was replaced with this in recent updates.
If the player looks in the birds game sprites on Angry Birds Space's files for PC, they can see Space Eagle in the sprite sheet along with the other birds.
In the Beak Impact levels, Space Eagle is replaced by the Mighty Buzzard, that behaves the same way but it's dark blue, happy, old, with white hair and with a different beak in appearance.
