Nautica is based off her Generation 1 design. Physically, she is inspired by her Titans Return figure.

She now has Energon glows around her body.

Personality

Nautica is known for her cheerful character, and hippie Matilda takes care of the whole pack. She maintains a friendly atmosphere and avoids aggression. She loves, but does not really know how to cook, forcing others to invent new ways to get rid of her dishes. Arriving from Caminus, the birthplace of Chromia and Windblade, she rapidly studies the history of Cybertron and war, literature, cartography and philosophy, and also exchanges knowledge about quantum mechanics with Ratchet and Wheeljack. Nautica turns into a submarine that can move even through space (for short distances).

Nautica is the first character to be unlockable from the game's map in three years since the game's launch, requiring 750 Bat Pigs to unlock and rescue her, though alternatively she can also be unlocked either through Challenge Events for 7,500 Tokens, purchasing her bundle for 2,000 Gems, or from Gold Crates. During gameplay, Nautica fires three balls made of water. Each water balls are destructively powerful, as one ball is nearly enough to wipe out an entire tower of blocks.

Energon Nautica

Energon Nautica can be unlocked either through Challenge Events for 7,500 Tokens, purchasing her bundle for 2,000 Gems, or from Gold Crates. During gameplay, Energon Nautica plays the exact same way as her default counterpart, though now she can regenerate health by collecting Energon cubes at the cost of taking more damage. Unlike her default counterpart, she cannot be unlocked on the map.

Trivia

• Matilda is one of the few characters to be added late into the game's lifespan, taking three years for her to make her debut. This would be followed by Mighty Eagle and Zeta, both taking five years to be added into the game.
• Being a remodel of Windblade, Matilda reuses Silver's sound effects. As a result, she also reuses Bubbles' sound effects, specifically the transformation sounds during gameplay.
