New Year's Special is the fourth comic strip of Angry Birds that was released in late 2011 to celebrate the upcoming new year of 2012.

Trivia[]

  • The plot of this story is similar to the Moon Festival Comic and the later Angry Birds Toons episode "The Bird That Cried Pig." However, in the latter two, Chuck fails to be the best bird of them all, while in this comic, victory belongs to him.
  • Chuck's design resembles the one that appears in Kombo cinematic trailers from 2010 to 2011.
