Not So Smart Speaker is the third episode of Angry Birds MakerSpace.
Description[]
The piggies are excited about the newest voice recognition tech, but this smart speaker has a mind of its own.
Plot[]
The episode starts with a pig walking, where he notices a Piggy Device. He decides to test it by asking what the weather is. The device responds by saying the weather is sunny, with this answer confirmed by a nearby window. The pig asks the device to play music. The Piggy Device plays Bad Piggies's Theme Song. He requests it to stop right after, and play a new song. The Piggy Device plays Pigs Can Fly's Theme Song, impressing the pig. He runs off and brings a freckled pig to see it.
The aforementioned freckled pig could be Ross. For identity purposes, the remainder of this article assumes this is true. Any mentions to "the pig" refer to the still unnamed pig.
The pig asks the device to play music, but gets no response. He gets worried and again asks it to play a song. The device mistakes his request for a weather check. Ross starts laughing, which angers the pig who screams to the Piggy Device to play music. The device gets angry itself and refuses to do so (showing a Jolly Roger). In response, the pig violently smashes the device on the floor and walks out. The damaged device plays a distorted rendition of Pigs Can Fly, which Ross dances to, and eventually dabs.
Trivia[]
- The music that the speaker was playing was the Bad Piggies theme song and the Pigs Can Fly song.
- The speaker is in the shape of a Gen 1 Google Home.
