The Octopig is a pig with octopus tentacles that made his debut in the Piglantis loading screen of Angry Birds Seasons. As the name would imply, he's a pig with the lower half of an Octopus.
Octopig, as the name would imply, is a cross between an octopus and a pig. The top half looks identical to an average Minion Pig, while the body beneath the head splits off into eight lime-green tentacles.
Personality[]
The Octopig is aggressive and territorial. It seems to be more animalistic in nature than the average Pig, and will either attack or eat anything that comes near it. It has no loyalty to bird or pig, and is willing to attack both. Attacking him only angers him. Octopig, like most pigs, is heavily motivated by food. Even more similar to most pigs, is his preference for Eggs.
Game Appearances[]
Angry Birds Seasons[]
He is not seen in any levels of the game, just on the loading screen for Piglantis. On the screen, he is seen stealing an egg from Red and Bomb.
Media Appearances[]
The World Of Angry Birds Official Guide[]
Octopig's role in The Official Guide is just as minimal as his debut. in the Piglantis section of the book, Mighty Eagle mentions that the Octopig lives within Piglantis, and that he is mysterious in nature.
Angry Birds: Treasure Island[]
Octopig serves as Treasure Island's secondary antagonist. It is mentioned early in the book that Billy Beak, who is most likely Mighty Eagle under a different name, defeated the Octopig by himself at some point in the distant past. Later in the story, the main characters are attacked by the Octopig while sailing. The birds on board the ship use the cannons to launch themselves at the Octopig, but this only enrages him. Octopig eventually attempts to eat the ship, which fails when the Hawkins Triplets, the book's equivalents to The Blues, throws the chefs poorly made food down Octopig's throat, which causes him to regurgitate the dish back up, knocking the ship out of his grasps. He is absent for the rest of the story.
Angry Birds Toons[]
It is important to note that the Octopigs in this episode are not the same as the Octopig who lives in Piglantis, but rather Pigs who have mutated into Octopigs. In the Angry Birds ToonsSeason 2 episode Sweets of Doom, King Pig mutates into an octopig after eating some radioactive candy while he and Bubbles were pursuing a piece of dropped candy into the castle dungeons. At the end of the episode, several pigs eat radioactive candy and mutate into octopigs themselves, while Bubbles mutates into an octobird after the camera irises out when he too eats the radioactive candy.
