Power-Ups are a feature of the game introduced in Angry Birds Friends and has since been incorporated into the iOS and Android version of the game as of v2.2.0. They are a set of items that the player can use to augment the Birds and make clearing levels and earning three stars easier.

The power-ups act the same in all versions of the game. Players receive a small number of each one the first time they start the game with this feature in place. They can also be purchased through the appropriate marketplaces or they may receive periodic random power-ups for free.

Power Ups then started to arrive in more games like Angry Bird Star Wars (Facebook), Angry Birds Rio, and Angry Birds Space in that order. It could be possible that one day, Angry Birds Seasons and the original app of Angry Birds Sta Wars will receive Power ups.

Angry Birds Friends, Angry Birds and Angry Birds Rio

Sling Scope

Using the Sling Scope produces a visible arc trail with which the player can aim the slingshot more accurately. Note that the Scope will only project a bird's initial arcing path, not any alterations that may result from using a bird's powers. Once activated, the Sling Scope remains in place for the rest of the level. Sling Scope is also used in Angry Birds Space but as a standard feature to compensate for the difficulty of plotting flight trajectories in that game. This powerup is already eqiupped in Angry Birds Space andAngry Birds Star Wars.

Birdquake

The Birdquake makes the ground shake, causing delicately-balanced walls and pigs to teeter and fall down (along with anything relying on them for support)

Super Seeds

Super Seeds cause the current bird in the launcher to grow larger and much more powerful: capable of defeating more and stronger walls before losing energy.

King Sling

The King Sling is a metal slingshot with stronger rubber bands that provide a lot more power for bird launches, allowing them to fly further and faster. Once activated, the King Sling remains in place for the rest of the level.

Energy TNT

There were supposed to be another power-up that would make Energy TNT with parachutes fall from the sky, but Rovio cut that idea, probably because it resembled the White Bird's ability too much. She is like a Power-up

Samba Burst

Rio Exclusive

Turns any current bird on the Slingshot into a Samba Bird. He dances around the place, causing objects to scatter around. To use this bird, simply tap the power up button and tap the icon of Samba Bird. No matter what bird is in the Slingshot, Samba Bird will always look like Red Bird. When launching him from the Slingshot, he also makes the same sound as Red Bird. After Samba Bird hits a block, he starts to shake multiple times in the place he hit the block, causing powerful damage. Also, when Samba Bird is in use, a Samba style music begins to play.

TNT Drop

TNT crates appear in random areas near the structure. When a bird hits one of them, it causes more destruction to the structure. This power-up is exclusive in the Angry Birds Friends Winter Tournament, but it is permanent in Angry Birds Rio.

Angry Birds Space

Space Eagles

Use these to get total destruction to get all the feathers on normal levels in Angry Birds Space to unlock the bonus Space Eagle level (except Danger Zone) and, as a result, a special item bubble. Limited use on normal levels, but unlimited use in Space Eagle Bonus Levels

Flock of birds

Exclusive to Angry Birds Space, this multiplies your using Space Bird by 5, with one staying the same and 4 smaller copies.

Space Egg

Also exclusive to Angry Birds Space. Was formerly a character used in Space Egg Bonus Levels (unlimited use), but is now used in normal levels as well as a Power Ups (limited use). Use its vortex to pull many objects.

Puffed Up Pigs

Puffed pigs

===Pig Puffer===

Like the Flock of Birds and the Space Egg, this is also exclusive to Angry Birds Space. This inflates the pigs, causing some the stucture to become unstable. The inflated pigs rise when underwater (in Pig Dipper).

Angry Birds Star Wars (Original App Facebook Version)

Thermal Detonator

Exclusive to the Facebook version of Angry Birds Star Wars at this time, the themal detonator will be given to the current bird on the slingshot. Once the bird hits an obstacle, the detonator will stick and will release a heat wave destorying anything in its blast radius.

Lightsaber Sling

This is the slingshot that you normally see in merchandise. When used, the slingshot will transform into this special Lightsaber upgrade, giving ALL of your birds increased speed and mass. At this time, this is only available in the Facebook version of Angry Birds Star Wars, just like the Thermal Detonator.

Blaster Droid

Like, the Thermal Detonator and Lightsaber Sling, this is only available to Angry Birds Star Wars's Facebook game at this time. When this is used, your current bird shall receive a blaster droid that blasts lasers when your bird is launched. Kinda acts like Chuck "Ham" Solo's laser blaster ability, except it shoots consecutive times until it is destroyed.

Clone Bird

Once again, an exclusive Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Power Up at this time. This generates a clone of the current bird in the Slingshot, or the bird that was used last. This is useful when your about to fail a level and ran out of birds. Kinda acts like the Hunter and Santa Bomb Bird from Angry Birds Friends's Halloween and Winter Tournaments respectively

Mighty Millenium Falcon

Available for BOTH the original app and facebook version of Angry Birds Star Wars. You will be given an egg with a tracking beacon installed. Launch and activate the egg beacon and the Mighty Millenium Falcon will swoop down and fire consecutive lasers at the targeted position. Use these to earn a Total Destruction medal.

Note: All Power Ups are bought by Star Wars Credits earned in the Facebook tournament of Angry Birds Star Wars or earned as daily rewards. For more info on these Power Ups, play the Facebook Game and go to the shop.
