Not to be confused with Fat Pig and Big Pig
Pump is a clumsy, rotund Minion Pig, who acts as the main character of Piggy Island Heroes: Piggies and Pirates' third story. He was formerly employed by Mechanic Pig, before being hired as a clown by the Pig Top Circus.
Appearance[]
Pump is a chubby pig with freckles and four square teeth. Throughout most of the story he lacks clothing, but dawns clown makeup and a party hat once he lands a job as a clown in a circus.
Personality[]
Unlike a majority of his species, Pump has ambition. His dream is to join the Pig Top Circus as one of the acts. Pump also has a nasty habit of daydreaming, which frequently causes him to lose focus. This, in combination with his natural clumsiness, often lands him into situations that are embarrassing at best, and dangerous at worst.

Pig Dreamer[]
The story starts with Pump asking The Ring Master for a job as a circus performer. The Ring Master asks Pump what his skills are, which renders Pump speechless, as he has no talent to speak of. The Ring Master, feeling sorry for Pump, tells him that if he can come back with something to show him, he'll consider him for a position. Pump then returns to his job working for Mechanic Pig, who harshly tells him that he has no hope of working in the circus, and says he's lucky to have work at all on account of his uselessness.
As the story progresses, Pump gets into increasingly dangerous mishaps that end with him being humiliated in front of other Pigs. This all culminates with Pump botching a job to return The Ring Master's car to him, and is sent flying into the circus tent. As it turns out, The Ring Master has been watching Pump this whole time. Pump managed to screw up in such a grandiose fashion that The Ringmaster gives him a job as a clown on the spot. Pump goes on to have a prosperous career as a circus clown, being the funniest act in Pig Top just by being his clumsy self.
