Rovio Classics: Angry Birds Cinematic Trailer is was a trailer that was released by Rovio on March 31, 2022.
Description[]
Talk about flashback. Red's about to go on a nostalgia trip, all the way back to 2012 in Rovio Classics: Angry Birds!
Rebuilt from the ground up, Rovio Classics: Angry Birds is a faithful re-make of the original Angry Birds game that took the world by storm.
Plot[]
Red (the movie counterpart) is in his bedroom one night, where he is scrolling through his Tweeter (Twitter) account, looking at Angry Birds related-post, until he notices the Angry Bird Network's post about the downfall of the game franchise, much to his dismay. At that time, he receives a notification from Angry Birds Classic and finds it, before tapping on the app icon. He is then sucked into his phone, travels through hyperspace, and ends up in the classic universe, where he encounters his original counterpart and the rest of the flock. That is when the birds discover that the pigs have stolen their eggs, as if Movie Red was a distraction. Movie Red then unethically says, "Ugh, classic...". After this, Classic Red lets out a battle cry, and the two tides begin to clash.
During the stinger, Movie Red questions how he exits the game, not worrying about the empty nest as the classic, limbless birds go off on their first adventure... again.

Trivia[]
- This is the first time a movie character is drawn in the style of the classic game.
- There is an error in the trailer. When the pigs grimace at the birds as they clash, they only have one bottom tooth instead of three (two for the small minion pig).
- Some social media outlets are parodied within the trailer such as MeTube, Tweeter, Redit and Flinger.
- It is later revealed by Ben Mattes that by Movie Red traveling to the Classic Universe, it caused the Reloaded Universe to be created from cross-pollination of the two universes.[1] (having the classic artstyle while having the movie lore)
