Royal Pains

Hamsome Pig can't get a break. Gale just ignores his attempts to impress her. Only one thing left to try- an overly elaborate ritual from The Book! Let's hope they turn to the right page.

Plot

At Gale's Castle, Handsome Pig tunes a lute, and prepares to play it to entertain Gale on his throne, but as he is about to do so, Gale throws water on him. He is then seen dancing ballet in another attempt to surprise her, but ends up hitting himself, again failing to impress Gale at all. He then tries juggling balls, but Gale gets so bored that she falls asleep. In another attempt to surprise her, he dresses up in a Mexican mariachi hat and begins playing a trumpet, but Gale gets so fed up with it that she leaves the room, causing Handsome Pig to cry. Just then, a little pig arrives with a book, and Handsome Pig asks for it to be brought to him, and begins to leaf through it. Seeing that the book depicts a royal ritual, he decides to perform it to surprise Gale.

Later, Handsome Pig is shown outside the castle organizing and directing some piglets to build the party area for Gale, with a list in his notebook. Seeing one of the piglets asleep, he yells at it to continue its work, but when it wakes up, it accidentally pushes one of the decoration totems, causing it to collapse and create a domino effect with the other totems, causing them to fall completely. Hearing the noises, Gale, who was in a beauty sleep, wakes up upset, and when she goes outside to see what caused the noise, she sees Handsome Pig with a group of piglets in an area full of totems. Some piglets throw confetti, and place a lei on Gale, while she is happily carried by them, and taken to sit comfortably on a pile of pillows next to Handsome Pig. He calls the little pigs to bring Gale a plate full of fresh fruit, which makes her happy, as is the Handsome Pig. Later that night, a group of little pigs dance around a bonfire, and two others perform the show of the burning sticks, but one of them accidentally knocks his stick into Gale's fruit, so the Handsome Pig tries to put out the fire, but the fruit catches fire completely, and the Handsome Pig orders another little pig to take the fruit away.

Gale starts to get upset, so Handsome Pig calls out to the pig with the book, and sees that he says he can do other activities, including a boat ride, and this gives Handsome Pig an idea, but just as he leaves, the pig who brought him the book sees the next page, and freaks out. Handsome Pig then offers Gale a moving chair, and she accepts, so she gets on, as does Handsome Pig, but Gale immediately orders him to fan her with a leaf. The throne passes by while some pigs throw confetti at them, and they advance through the jungle until they reach the riverbank, where Handsome Pig offers Gale a gondola ride on the river, and She accepts, while the Handsome Pig sees her in love, and decides to comb his hair to kiss her, but in that the little pigs take Gale to the canoe, so the Handsome Pig puts on perfume, and some little pigs do a ribbon dance for her, while the Handsome Pig finishes looking at himself in a mirror, but the little pigs suddenly end up tying Gale with the ribbons, and proceed to throw her into the canoe. The little pig of the book, scared, shows the next page to the Handsome Pig trying to warn him of the danger of the next step, in which the ritual orders to tie up the monarch and throw him by canoe to a waterfall, and sees a waterfall at the end of the river, so he gets scared and tries to rescue her, when he sees a wooden beam, he uses it as a pole to jump to the canoe, and once there he rows the canoe against the current until he moves away from the waterfall.

Upon reaching the shore, the Handsome Pig prepares to kiss Gale, but she becomes enraged by what happened and throws the pig into the canoe, as she storms off, causing him to cry. At that, the little pigs, ready to continue with the ritual, push the canoe into the waterfall with the Handsome Pig as they say goodbye, and he ends up falling over the waterfall.

Trivia

• This is the second time in a row in Season 2 not to have the appearance of Stella, Poppy, Willow, Dahlia and Luca. For the overall, the first was Piggy Love.

• Stella was seen in the end credits, but she's not here in the whole episode.
