"Slow Down Chuck" is the sixth webcomic in the Angry Birds 15th Anniversary Comic series, and the first story in its second volume, Cleared for Takeoff. It released on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram on January 1, 2025. The comic stars Chuck, who Matilda tasks with taking care of a rock after disrupting the local nursery. It is the first comic in the series to feature the hatched Mia, following her hatching at the end of Good Egg, Bad Egg, and features her alongside two other hatchlings, their first notable role in the series following their cameo in "Starstruck Blues".

Plot[]
Matilda welcomes three hatchlings to a nursery for which she works, with a nearby sign saying "SLOW DOWN CHUCK". However, one of the hatchlings, Mia, vandalises it to say "SLOW DOWN CHUGKS", leading to Chuck ignoring it and continuing to speed around the nursery, disturbing the sessions and distressing the hatchlings. Chuck tries to save face by providing the children with a chocolate cake, but they end up going berserk over it, making a mess of the nursery. Matilda is enraged by this, and to mitigate Chuck's shenanigans, tasks him to take care of a rock with a bird face drawn on, which he accepts.
Over the following day, Chuck spends time with the rock, which he dubs "Rocky". He builds a wagon for the rock, plays with it on the swing, inadvertently launching it away in the process, provides it with some apples, and "teaches" it karate, Rocky soon becoming a "master" of the art. Over the day, Rocky is worn down, and its face starts coming off. Red takes notice of this, notifying Chuck that Matilda will "explode" upon seeing the state of the rock, worrying Chuck and prompting him to take a run to destress, leaving Rocky behind.
Meanwhile, while Matilda is taking them on a trip to South Beach, the hatchlings recruit Rocky, attaching it to Matilda's safety harness. Chuck soon returns to find the rock missing and follows Matilda and her pupils to the beach, where he worriedly explains his failure at protecting Rocky, leading to the two arguing about the former's irresponsibility. As he does this, Mia takes the other hatchlings to a nearby cliff to use the harness to drop Rocky and have it hang above the ocean - Chuck and Matilda notice, and the former rushes to save Rocky, as well as the other hatchlings. Matilda congratulates Chuck for being able to look after Rocky after all. At the same time, Mia begins looking up to Chuck, donning a headband similar to Chuck's trademark, and insinuating that she would like him to train her in karate.

- At only 7 pages, "Slow Down Chuck" is the shortest story in the Angry Birds 15th Anniversary Comic series released thus far.
- While their identites are never specified within the comic, the two unnamed hatchlings bear resemblance to Samantha and Vincent from the Angry Birds Movie series, respectively.
- This story is one of several instances of Chuck being paired up with a rock, with other notable instances being the Angry Birds Toons episodes, "Boulder Bro" and "Mona Litha".
- This story bears some resemblace to the episode: "Slow the Chuck Down!" from Angry Birds Toons. Both have plots about Matilda trying to make Chuck slow down as well as both having similar names.
