The Smiley Face as seen in Angry Birds, in Theme 1-3
A Smiley Face block is an item in Angry Birds. It was first seen in Theme 1-3, and is the least featured item in Angry Birds since it rarely appears in any levels. If a bird hits it, the smiley face will start to look dented and it will give you 1000 points when destroyed.
Smiley Faces seem to be fairly strong, as a Red will only dent it.
They are very minor items in the franchise and the first one was used to hide a Golden Egg behind it. Smiley Faces are more seen in Weekly Tournament on Angry Birds Friends than the original game and it is in at least one level of Angry Birds.
