Template:Noname Template:Infobox character 2 Glick is a bird and a minor character that only appeared in The Angry Birds Movie. He appeared in a brief scene where he played soccer in front of Red's house, with his soccer ball bouncing on its side, and as a result of Red's temper, got kicked into the ocean. He also appeared in the game Angry Birds Action! as a non-playable character in one of its loading screens.

Character

Appearance

Glick is a small, young blue bird with a spherical body. He has short limbs and a blue plumage with a paler band around his waist. His limbs are bigger than the Hatchlings, meaning that he is older than one and is a slightly more grown child. He has two little orange feet with three toes. He has a small yellow beak, two yellowish eyes with large black pupils, and a small black-feathered tail. His mother and father are blue, but it can be assumed that his parents have blue-coloured bodies, just like him.

Personality

Glick likes to play with a soccer ball, giving no thought to whom he might annoy. He could be seen as lonely and wanting a friend to play with him, but was sadly oblivious to the anger of Red, who appeared to be interested in playing with him after the boy's ball-kicking rudely awakened him, before kicking him into the water nearby.

Encounter with Red

Glick first appeared in some trailers for The Angry Birds Movie, and in one of them, the sound of him kicking a ball against the wall starts the trailer off, causing the production logos to bulge with each strike of the ball, before the viewer sees what he is actually doing. The boy kicks the ball against the side of Red's house repeatedly, causing a flower pot to fall on Red's head and hit Red while he's asleep, waking him up and shout ''Ow!''. Upset, Red gets up and investigates what is going on, and discovers the little boy and his soccer ball. He feigns interest in playing with the little bird, then kicks him into the water. It is known that he had swam back to Bird Island, due to later appearing in the mobile game Angry Birds Action!.

This same scene would then appear in the opening credits of the film, as the list of "starring" actors and actresses are being displayed, with the production logos being bulged. He is seen or heard from again for the rest of the film.

Birds Movie, as a non-playable character who can be seen in one of its loading screens.

It is unknown why Red was not sent to court after kicking him.
It can be presumed that he swam back to safety, due to appearing in Angry Birds Action!.
His design was likely modeled after the Argentinian flag.
The scream he made when he was kicked by Red was Matilda's launch sound.
