''Stick Pigs'' and ''Rogues'' are Common Pigs, so they should not be much of a threat. ''Wealthy Rogues'' appear rarely in this level and drop 50 [[Snoutlings]] when defeated, so defeat those first. Also note that ''Rogues'' can dish out more damage than ''Stick Pigs''.

South Beach - 1 is the second level of South Beach in Angry Birds Epic. It is a Normal stage. When this level is finished, the player may spin for 1 Sword (17 Attack) (+1 Attack compared to Red's Original Sword). (3 Seashells if replaying)

Battle Hint

Common Pigs (Appears in large numbers.)

Common pigs appear in large numbers and don't have special rules usually.

Hint: Deal with the tallest pigs first. They pose the most threat.

Cutscenes

From ??? update

Note: This cutscene occurs before clearing this stage.

The birds' camp was successfully raided, resulting in Chuck, the Magic Cauldron, the Magic Anvil, and the Golden Pig Machine to be stolen from the camp. Red must travel across South Beach to reach Chuck and save him.

Before ??? update

Note: This cutscene occurred before clearing this stage.

King Pig hires Wizpig (Chef Pig) and Prince Porky (Ross) to steal five bird eggs, and so they go on a journey across Piggy Island with a small Pig army to get the eggs. The Pigs locate the eggs along with Red (who was fixing the nest) and Chuck (who was sleeping). The Pigs ambush Red and Chuck and as a result, Wizpig succeeds in stealing the eggs. Prince Porky, along with his army of Rogues, managed to kidnap Chuck while they leave Red behind. They successfully stole the Magic Anvil, the Golden Pig Machine, the five eggs and Chuck, with Wizpig placed one of the eggs on top of Cobalt Pig Castle. First, Red must save Chuck from the Rogues who handle Chuck's cage and defeat Prince Porky who was sitting on the cage.

Strategy

Tip: Always remember from here, when there are no order of pigs you have to attack (ex. "Attack the Rogue first, and then the Stick Pig.") in the strategy, attack the one with the smallest health first so you"ll take less damage. Other than this there is barely any strategy whatsoever.

Before unlocking Chuck

Red will be the only bird available and both the Rogue and the Stick Pig are present. Attack the Stick Pig first followed by the Rogue so as to take less damage.

After unlocking Chuck

Should you choose to return to this level, you will find it is easier to clear this level with 3 stars as you now have additional birds to attack the pigs with. The only enemy you will meet is the Stick Pig with slightly higher stats.

After unlocking Matilda

Same as before you unlocked her. However, at this point, you can literally attack any pig without much consequence. By now, both Stick Pig and Rogue would have secondary attacks which will skip their turn. If you do meet the Wealthy Rogue at this level, you should defeat him first to earn 50 Snoutling.

In summary

Stick Pigs and Rogues are Common Pigs, so they should not be much of a threat. Wealthy Rogues appear rarely in this level and drop 50 Snoutlings when defeated, so defeat those first. Also note that Rogues can dish out more damage than Stick Pigs.
