Space Bomb, also known as Firebomb is a transformation which appears in the Angry Birds series. It is an alternate state of Bomb, achieved by passing through a wormhole.

Space Bomb is unchanged from Bomb, but with an orange red belly, perpetual lit fuse, and an orange red cloak with an Eggsteroid amulet on the middle.

In Angry Birds Space, Space Bomb makes his debut as a transformation of Bomb. At the start of the events of the game, Bomb assumed this state by passing through an extraterrestrial wormhole he used to go to space.

In gameplay, Space Bomb is a playable character that first appears in the fourteenth level of Pig Bang. He would later appear in the next episodes and the Mirror World levels. Space Bomb has the same basic ability as the regular Bomb. However, Space Bomb has a much more significant boost to his explosive power and radius. If the player slings Bomb very weakly into zero-gravity, then he will slowly decrease in speed, stop, and disintegrate without exploding. This is the first time that Bomb is the third bird introduced, rather than the fourth.

In Angry Birds POP Blast, Space Bomb is a character that appears in the Space Race.

Fire Bomb had minor appearances in both Angry Birds Space Kaiken books, only having one speaking role.

Fire Bomb has a single appearance in the second half of the book, where he's counting a collection of meteors he's found.

Angry Birds Space: Colors

While Ice Bird is looking for his friends, he manages to track down Fire Bomb, who he calls his "good friend". Fire Bomb later appears in a group with the rest of Ice Bird's friends.

Powers and abilities

Space Bomb's Shock Bang gives him a personality comparable to a supernova, which can also destroy a moon into space dust.
