The Space Egg is a transformation of the eggs first seen in Angry Birds Space. It made its first appearance in Fry Me To The Moon, where it is kidnapped by Space Foreman Pig. It appeared in Level 3-10. After the Space Flock defeats Space Foreman Pig, the Space Egg is saved. It also appears in bonus levels as a playable character.

The Space Egg was released as a character on July 26, 2012, along with Cosmic Bubbles. If you get 3 stars on every level in a page, an "egg" level will open up. These egg levels exclusively use Space Eggs as launchable projectiles. On November 21, 2023, the Space Egg and other Power-Ups returned to Angry Birds Reloaded in V2.6.

Appearance

The Space Egg is shaped exactly like the eggs, and even colored like them; completely white, gray shading, but with an added antenna, which glows blue when launched.

In Angry Birds Reloaded, the Space Egg is now colored lavender with softer shades. The antenna is slightly titled by default, and its glow is much brighter.

Overview

The Space Egg can create a small but very powerful black hole that appears on screen for a short time. It can be used kind of as a magnet, to pull things around. By getting three stars on all the levels of an episode plus the egg levels, you get a special item bubble since they now count towards completion.

Power-Up

Uses its vortex to pull many objects to its original location. Was formerly a character used in Space Egg Bonus Levels (unlimited use), but is now used in normal levels as well as a Power-Ups (limited use). Space Eggs can also be used with the Flock of Birds, making this a capability to use a fusion of 2 different power-ups.
