Space King Pig[1] is a character that appears in Angry Birds Space. He is the leader of the Space Pigs and their equivalent of King Pig on Earth. Space King Pig is an authoritarian leader who has coveted the Eggsteroids, egg-shaped alien objects protected by Ice Bird, which has put him and his minions into conflict with the Angry Birds. He is distinguished by his enormous size and golden crown, and uses a stolen spacecraft known as the Claw to travel across the galaxy.
Appearance[]
Space King Pig looks virtually identical to the normal King Pig, being an oval, limbless pig with lime skin and widely spaced, large eyes with his snout in-between. As per his name, Space King Pig has a small, golden crown with three sapphires. He can also be seen wearing a tinfoil hat in promotional art and merchandise for Angry Birds Space.
Personality[]
Described as the laziest pig in the universe, Space King Pig closely resembles the normal King Pig in personality, with interests like wearing hats, particularly his crown, which he constantly dons with pride. Having held a life-long resentment for walking, he makes use of various spacecraft to travel, most noticeably the Claw. He has a peculiar obsession with eggs, spending all his time looking for anything resembling them, particularly the Eggsteroids.[1] He is also a ruthless leader, being known to fire random Space Minion Pigs into black holes when displeased.[2]

Angry Birds Space[]
In Angry Birds Space, Space King Pig is the main antagonist. At some point before the events of the game, he and his henchmen accidentally went to space while trying to launch a submarine off Shipwreck Reef, resulting in them establishing an empire across the galaxy and going into conflict with Ice Bird over the Eggsteroids. However, his operations were thwarted by the Angry Birds, who helped Ice Bird rescue the Eggsteroids and their own eggs, which had been stolen by Space King Pig as well.
In gameplay, Space King Pig appears as a boss in the last levels of Pig Bang, Cold Cuts, Pig Dipper, Beak Impact 1 and 2, and Brass Hogs. In all of them, he is seen driving a contraption, which normally his Claw. Additionally, he is a standard enemy in Eggsteroids levels, with four Space King Pigs appearing in Eggsteroid 7.
