Spike Witwicky is an unused character from Angry Birds Transformers.

Appearance[]

Spike, unlike his mechanical brethren, is an organic Pig that pilots an Exosuit which he uses to assist the Autobirds. The Exosuit itself is a large silver mechanized suit with large blasters for hands and a glass space helmet.

Overview[]

Despite being a Pig, Spike is a trusted ally of the Autobirds but does not appear in-game. His first and only appearance as a character was in a Comic Con 2014 poster and was never seen again. However, his son Daniel Witwicky does make an in-game appearance, as an Autobirds accessory called "Daniel" that only Arcee can wear.

It's a possibility that instead of a Minion Pig, Daniel Witwicky (Spike's son) would be played by none other than Ross from Bad Piggies.
Despite not being a playable character in-game, Spike's son Daniel still makes an appearance as an Autobird accessory for Arcee.
There is a chance as to why Spike is an Autobot could be a reference to the Transformers G1 Episode Autobot Spike where his mind is transferred to another bot called Autobot X after an accident.
The last name "Witwicky" is a reference to the Michael Bay Transformers movies, namely the first three movies. The protagonist of those movies is named "Sam Witiwcky."
