Sssss is a secondary character from the 2025 webcomic Blast From The Past. He is a cockroach, and is a long-time friend of Gordon. Being a cockroach, Sssss is one of the only characters in the Angry Birds comics to never speak.

Appearance

Sssss is a small, brown cockroach. He appears similarly to all other cockroaches who later appear in the comic Sssss originates from; he has a small curved body with no face, six legs, a pair of antennas, and a pair of wings.

Blast From The Past

While Gordon was hiding in an underground shelter believing that the world had ended, his only visitor was a cockroach who he named Sssss. They frequently played a game called "Stone Stack" during their time together; Sssss was highly skilled at the game, with Gordon calling him "a master" at the game when recalling his memories of him to the Blues. At one point, Sssss returned to surface to check if it was safe, but never returned, leading Gordon to believe he died. Gordon has strong trust in Sssss, insisting to his assumed nephews that Sssss would never lie to him.

Later on in the comic, Gordon leaves the Blues to travel north in shame, being upset that the Blues called him crazy behind his back. Shortly after, he reunites with Sssss, who is spying on Corporal Pig and some Minion Pigs. This boosts Gordon's confidence, encouraging him to return to the other birds and warn them. They formulate a plan, which involves Gordon distracting the pigs with decoy eggs before Sssss leads an army of cockroaches to attack them.

After their victory, when the Blues ask Gordon to stay with the Flock, Gordon consults Sssss. He responds, with Gordon translating his response as "yippity yip".
