Stella is a main supporting character within the Angry Birds film series.
Biological information[]
Appearance[]
Stella appears as a pink anthropomorphic Galah and is identical to her game counterpart but with minor changes. Her pink feathers on top of her head are now five instead of three and the tip of her feather top are dark pink. She also has a long orange feet and has pink arms similar to Red's (though she is surprisingly taller).
Personality[]
Stella is eternally optimistic and bright. Thanks to her inquisitive nature, she has become one of the leading experts on Bird Island. Stella makes it her business to learn pretty much everything going on in the bird village, from its history to other birds’ personal lives. [1]

The Angry Birds Movie[]
One night, Stella was performing on the stage, with Red watching her show, until Cyrus began sneezing into his popcorn much to his annoyance. She even attended Bomb's surprise party only for it to literally blow up in her face, knocking her out.
When Red was heading to anger management class, Stella gave him greetings, only for Red to talk her down leaving her bewildered.
The Angry Birds Movie 2[]
Three years later, Stella runs The Apple Store and has to travel by the Slingshot to get there. She was one of the many birds that was overjoyed about the truce between the Birds and the Pigs, much to Red's annoyance.

Red's Got The Blues[]
Stella appears as a background character, and is accompanied by Bomb for the stories' duration. The two first appear in The Birdfeeder restaurant, enjoying a fruit basket. We see them next at Judge Peckinpah's statue ceremony. The two end up blocking The Blues' escape route once the three's premeditated plot to pepper Peckinpah's pockets is found out.
No Need for Speed[]
While preparing to open Willow's Healthy and Wholesome All-Organic Cafe, Stella is working on a take-out window before Chuck arrives to test it, breaking it. When he tries to fix it, it falls apart again on top of Stella, who tells Chuck he needs to slow down. She's later seen with the other staff seeing Chuck off after he gets the job of delivery boy.
Angry Birds: What's Bothering Bomb?[]
This book introduces Stella's Dance Studio. Bomb arrives at her studio in an attempt to destress, but through a combination of Chuck showing off and Bomb's inability to dance correctly, he only gets more stressed out. Stella eventually tells him that he should sit out for a bit. Once Chuck gets stuck in a wall, Stella evacuates the studio as Bomb prepares to explode. She, along with the rest of the patrons, return to celebrate Bomb when his explosion frees Chuck, in spite of the damage he did to the studio.

Angry Birds Holiday[]
Stella appeared in Angry Birds Holiday, but it is unknown what role she had as the game was scrapped from development and was never released outside of soft-launch. It can be assumed that perhaps she had her own building that the player could purchase, or was a roaming character on the map.

Angry Birds POP Blast[]
Stella initially appeared in Angry Birds POP Blast in the loading screen, before she made her proper appearance in the game. Stella is unlocked after obtaining 100 points in the piñata. Stella can appear at any level where the player uses her. Which the player has to assist her in popping bubbles once again, but this time, it's in any objective. When her bar is full, she will active her ability, which a bubble appears on the launcher and if it's launched, it will bounce and encases bubbles with bubblegum, then any affected bubble can be popped with any color bubble. She can be chosen along with any pig.
Stella, like all of the characters, uses her movie design and outlined sprites that were made to look like a cartoon. Her animations are similar to the ones from the first game. Unlike other games, her pupils aren't blue in-game, and instead, black.
Angry Birds: Bird Island[]
Stella appeared as one of the three free character bundles that the player got in this game with Red and Chuck when it was Angry Birds: Bird Island.

- For The Angry Birds Movie, early concept art for Stella from The Art of The Angry Birds Movie suggested that she would have a large tail. In the film's final cut, she was given a much smaller one.
- In the movies, she has the tendency to swing her wing before talking, which was an inside joke within the animators detailed in The Art of The Angry Birds Movie[2].
- Stella was initially planed to be a major character within The Angry Birds Movie 2, but she was dropped from the film in early development for unknown reasons.
- In 2024, Stella was promoted alongside the lesbian pride flag for Pride Month 2024.[3] However, these are merely made for promotional material, and not canon.[4]
