Stormtrooper Pigs (also referred to as Pigtroopers) are the main members of the Pig Empire that fights against the birds in Angry Birds Star Wars and Angry Birds Star Wars II.
Appearance[]
They are normal Minion Pigs, but wearing a large white helmet with black glass lens-shaped eye parts, a large snout part with symmetrical triangular nostrils that have metal stripes, mouth part, large ears with black holes, bushy eyebrows, a black stripe on the forehead, and a white cylinder on the back to front of the helmet that has metal holes.
Gameplay[]
Angry Birds Star Wars[]
In the game, they first appear in level 1-6 of Tatooine. They act the same as other enemy pigs, taking only some hits to be defeated. In the levels, if the player does nothing, they will laugh, sleep and be scared if a bird reaches him or the structure starts to fall and then be in relief if he wasn't hit or died.
They also sometimes appear holding laser rifles, that will be instantly destroyed/disappear after the Stormtrooper is defeated. They can also hold other objects.
Just like other pigs, they have three stages of injury before being defeated. They can defeated by any bird with momentum. Defeating one of them will award 5000 points.
Angry Birds Star Wars II[]
In the game, they reappear as enemies in Rebels the same way as in Angry Birds Star Wars, but with not so different Toons designs. They also appear playable as a Pork Side pig but doesn't appear in any episode, as he is only obtained by purchasing.
When launching the Stormtrooper, if the player clicks on a determined place, the Stormtrooper will activate his ability, in which he will fire 5 laser bullets that go to random directions, those bullets are strong against wood and glass, but will reflect metal and will destroy it only a bit. He cannot destroy materials if loses momentum, but destroys wood very well and defeats enemies easily, he isn't good for glass nor metal, destroying only some glass and only damaging the metal a bit.
He can be bought with credits:
- 80 Credits for +10;
- 130 Credits for +30;
- 250 Credits for +100 and
- 1000 Credits for permanent/∞.
Description[]
According to the Angry Birds Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, their official names are Pigtroopers. They are mindless and clumsy. They rampage across the galaxy looking for junk food for Emperor Piglatine. They wear white armor which ironically makes them easy to spot and to destroy. They used to work for the Rebels but were lured to the pork side. They are trained to not question orders and have no ideas of their own. They are easy to take by surprise, and they never completely understand given orders.
