In 2012, there was a promotional comic created for Angry Birds Space, featuring all of the birds in a human-like society. A cropped version of the comic appeared on X in 2021.

The comic would later inspire Super Angry Birds, an IDW Publishing 4-issue miniseries, which features a similar premise and some character designs. Bomb was the only one whose design hasn't changed, where Chuck and Terence's got simple recolors, and characters like The Blues and Ice Bird would be omitted in the superhero team.
