Swine Wave is the forty-seventh episode released in Angry Birds Reloaded and the thirteenth episode of the Space section, released on July 31st, 2025. It is the third Space-themed episode to be entirely original. This episode introduces Halgorhythm, Hal's Space form.
Overview[]
Swine Wave is a galactic dance party, evident by the comet-like speakers, the stage lights, and the pitch black sky lit up by green stars and lines. The episode relies entirely on musical notes with various effects, that only birds can activate. Red notes will speed up the bird in flight, while blue notes will split them up into 2 and change their direction by 45 degrees. Green notes will send a bird into a certain direction, and lastly, yellow notes can grow the size of a bird and make them stronger. There are no limits to these notes, although most of them only allow one usage and disappear and cannot be activated if a bird is a corpse, except for the green notes.
Among that, apart from the introduction of Halgorhythm, the pipes and gases from Brass Hogs return in a much greater scale. Hexagonal planets are also the norm in this episode, and allow for unique level layouts.
There are certain instruments in the episode that give the player 3000 points. Hologram eggs also give the player 2000 points upon destruction. Once again, the asteroids from Beak Impact also return.
Story[]
Beginning[]
The Flock is distracted by a bright, green light as they fly through space, and look through the Daft Piggies revealing Halgorhythm. The three dance and confuse the Flock, but either way they don't trust the Daft Piggies and fly into battle.
Ending[]
After convincing Halgorhythm to their side, the Flock leaves the Daft Piggies stranded, but one of them flies back somewhere behind their backs undetected.

Trivia[]
- Swine Wave is named after the sine wave, an oscillating wave that responds to harmonic and linear motion.
- Ironically, Swine Wave was originally called Halgorithm, but the name was later used for Halgorhythm himself.
- This is evident by the fact that Swine Wave's assets are still named by Halgorithm, and even their placeholder versions in V3.18.
- Ironically, Swine Wave was originally called Halgorithm, but the name was later used for Halgorhythm himself.
- This is the first episode to properly use the Daft Piggies as real enemies and antagonists.
- The ambient loop of Swine Wave bears massive resemblance to Angry Birds Space's unused spaceAmbient01.
- But on September 19, 2025, a developer named Velvet Thunder confirmed that the ambience was completely new.
- More importantly though, the ambience of Swine Wave is actually one of the melodies of Daft Piggies, spliced and distorted.
