The TIE fighter[1] is an object that appears in the Angry Birds Star Wars series. It is a mass-produced ship model created and used by the Pig Empire.

The TIE fighter is a small, satellite-like spacecraft that is sea green in color. It has a small, pig-shaped cockpit with cartoonish eyes, and two plain wings at the sides.

Despite being a fast vehicle, the TIE fighter is very fragile and lacks any defense system.[1]
Overview[]
The TIE fighters appear as enemies in Angry Birds Star Wars, making their first appearance in level 1-40 of Tatooine. They would also become common enemies in the sections of Death Star, Hoth and Death Star 2 that take place in outer space.
In gameplay, TIE fighters are commonly located in gravitational fields, though they might also appear outside of one. TIE fighters often move from side to side, not having any methods of defense or attacks against the playable characters. The TIE fighters are not very resistant, and a single impact is enough to destroy them. Once destroyed, the TIE fighters award the player 5000 points, and its wings will split.
In addition, the TIE fighters also appear hovering in the title screen of the game. The player can explode them by tapping onto them.

Darth Vader's TIE fighter[]

Darth Vader has his own variant of the standard TIE fighter, which is slightly larger and has his appearance. Regardless, it is as fragile, if not, more than the normal TIE fighters.
