Either the rewards in the chronicle cave have been changed or there's a reward for beating a stage a second time. I already had the cobalt sword scroll, I beat the stage again and I got a scroll for a weapon called "origami sword".

It happened again. I beat level 1-2 of chronicle cave and I got the "scroll" blueprint. But this blueprint replaced the previous book's blueprint I had, so now I have 2 scroll blueprints.

I've just beaten stage 1-3 of chronicle cave for the first time. The reward was dented pan, not candy pan.
